How can I order my business card?
You can order business cards in person (bring your design in on a USB jump drive, PDF file with crop marks and bleeds). You can email us your PDF file with instructions (quantity, on what card stock, etc.) Don't forget to tell us when you need them, how you want to pay for them and where we may deliver or ship them to. You can also go to our online storefront and place your order online, click here to order online. We can even create for your firm or organization its own custom online web portal, just for you and your staff. Ask for details on our AG onLine custom portals, they are very efficient for your staff and not as expensive as you may think. Don't forget, you can always call us direct at our Camelback location at 602-263-0122, or stop by anytime to get more guidance or see some paper samples. You name it, we got plenty of samples to show you.
Which business card sizes do you have?
In the US, the standard business card size is 3.5" wide x 2" tall. But we print business cards in custom sizes, shapes, and die cut designs all the time. Need a square 2" x 2" business card or maybe a circle or oval card? Not a problem at all. Some business owners need different kinds of business cards to stand out from the crowd. Aren’t sure what to order? Not a problem, stop by our convenient Camelback corridor location in the Biltmore area and take a look at our extensive collection of samples and different cardstock and finishing options. Again, business cards of different custom sizes are available and not a problem at all. We can even print very small business cards and odd sizes, fast!
What’s the difference between the different styles?
In today's competitive environment, you've got to stand out from the crowd. Need a super triple thickness 32-point business card? No Problem. How about spot varnish, spot gloss UV, shiny gold, or silver foiled stamping? Need a vertical business card with a painted edge? No problem. Would a foldover business card do the trick? No problem. Silk soft touch laminated business cards, die cut into ovals with a spot UV high gloss spot on one side and a mate UV foil stamp in black on the backside? No problem. Like rounded corners? We offer two different radius round corners, 1/8" and 1/4" corner radius for a really finished look. And what about the materials
Our house standard stock is a premium #130 uncoated bright white cover stock. But that is just the start. We also stock heavy premium, 14, 16, and 18 point coated cover stocks in matte, silk, velvet, and high gloss, and all can be embellished with flood or spot coatings. (i.e. gloss UV or matte flood). Need a textured linen or stipple cover stock? Not a problem, we stock a wide variety of custom cover stocks. Some of our cover stocks can even be "welded" together for custom multi-loft layer business cards with colored inserts. Imagine a business card that is triple-thick with a bright red or blue insert and painted edges? Which finish option should I choose?
Finishing options are personal preferences, but often we see our customers default to asking for "gloss" cardstock. Candidly, high gloss business cards are often not the best choice for non-profits, professional organizations like law firms, and CPAs. A more "stable" and appropriate option would be a matte or uncoated thick bright white cover stock. It exudes confidence and stability, whereas a high gloss business card would be a perfect solution for a garden shop if your business is marketing a product with images on your business card. Embossing or de-bossing is when the text or image is either bumped up or pushed down (think braille). When used in the correct way, embossing of print or even blind embossing (when the paper is bumped up but no ink is used) is a very classy and practical way to draw attention to a logo or tagline. Some of the most effective and stylish business cards include a subtle but effective use of foil stamping, or a simple rounded corner or die cut shape.
Can your team help me with a layout?
A great business card starts with good creativity. You can spend all kinds of money on a business card with gold foil stamping and die cutting, but if the overall design and creativity of your business cards are lacking, you may be better off having one of our professional graphic designers re-work your layout or logo. Just because your PC or Mac can lay out a business card does not mean you or your staff have the expertise or creative flair needed for graphic design. A really great use of marketing funds in any business or non-profit is to first get a graphic standard and game plan. Your printing dollars are much better spent when you are following a brand guide and staying consistent with your image and mission.
